Old Town Trolley Tours allows you to get off at any of the 22 convenient stops situated close to all popular attractions, shops, and restaurants. When you're ready, re-board, and it's on with the tour, along with the trolley, tour one of the few surviving 19th-century jails completed in 1891 that housed prisoners for over 60 years. Or view a combination of historical displays and private collections that bring over 400 years of Florida history to life at the history museum. Lastly, you can discover the Oldest Store Museum, which isn't simply a museum. It is an interactive experience with actors portraying characters you would have met in the 1908 store, with over 100,000 items!

Old Town Trolley
What does your tour consist of and how long does it take?
The Old Town Trolley Tour is a 90 minute, narrated historic tour of downtown St Augustine. The trolley tour features 22 stops where guests can get on and off to shop, dine or sightsee. We cover 100 points of interest during our tour. Your ticket is good for one day and includes FREE admission to St. Augustine History Museum. Our expert guides are licensed by the city and extensively trained.
How often do the trolleys come to each stop?
Our Trolleys come by every 15 to 20 minutes, though times may vary slightly due to traffic conditions.
Where does the tour begin?
Our Old Town Trolley depot is located at 167 San Marco Avenue at the Authentic Old Jail, just north of downtown. There is plenty of free parking here.
Are the trolleys handicap accessible?
Yes, we do have two wheelchair accessible trolleys. A person needing these trolleys can only board and exit the trolley at our main depot. Call in advance to see what time the handicap accessible trolley departs.
What is the last tour of the day?
The last tour of the day is at 3:00 P.M.
Can I bring my stroller on board the trolley?
Yes, we can accommodate strollers but they must be collapsible and will be stored up front with the conductor. Strollers in the aisle ways would constitute a safety hazard.
Are dogs allowed on your trolleys?
Assistance animals, such as seeing-eye dogs, are the only animals that are allowed on board the trolleys.
Old Jail
What is the Old Jail?
The Old Jail just that, and old jail built by railroad magnate Henry Flagler, to resemble a fine hotellike. This is a guided tour/experience with the jailers.
What will we see on the tour/experience?
You will see the sheriffs quarters where he and his family lived adjacent to 72 prisoners. In addition, the guest can tour the male and female cells, he maximum security area, view a collection of guns, used in actual crimes and experience the feared gallows.

Yes, On your tour our deputies will also share tales of gruesome punishment and awe-inspiring justice from Florida's time as America's Southernmost Frontier.
